"Glorify The Father" 

Sometimes, it's hard to understand why things happen the way they do. Sometimes, it’s consequences for our sin. Sometimes, it’s consequences for someone else’s sin. Sometimes, it’s just the sin of the world that is continuing to decay right in front of our eyes. But whatever we go through, we should be Glorifying The Father in the midst of it. Glorifying The Father with our lives, with our love, with our kindness, with our patience, with our gentleness. People watch each other. We really have no idea how many lives we touch. Every day is the day that The LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Not just Sunday morning but every. Single. Day. – Glorify The Lord.

Lazarus was a good friend to Jesus. He and his sisters shared their home, their food, and their love with their friend Jesus. So, you would think that as close as they were to Jesus that they were safe and protected from all harm. But while Jesus was out sharing His Word, Lazarus became sick. Word was sent to Jesus to come quickly. Now, of course, Jesus already knew. So, when he heard the message, He didn’t leave quickly like they hoped He would. He said “The end of this sickness will not be death. No, this sickness is for the Glory of God.”  He stayed a couple more days where He was at. He wasn't wasting time. He was healing people and loving on people. Then when He knew that Lazarus had died, He was ready to go. He had a plan. 

A Child of God, has eternal life, through Jesus Christ. So, even if we die, we live. This decaying body that we have here on earth will be changed. We will put on an immortal, imperishable, perfect body. Jesus wants us to have life and He offers to give us abundant life. Not materialistic life. But a spiritually abundant life. So, that the Father may be Glorified through us. No matter what we are going through. With His Strength we can Glorify The Father, in work, in play, in church, and at home. Let your Light so Shine that others may see Jesus in you. Glorify The Father. 

“Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the Glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Never do anything that might make other people do wrong- Jews, non-Jews, or anyone in God’s church. I do the same thing. I try to please everyone in every way. I am not trying to do what is good for me. I am trying to do what is good for the most people so that they can be saved.” – vs. 32-22

   Scripture For The Day  December 19, 2023 Luke 19 part 1 "Hide It Under a Bushel? NO!"  And Jesus passed through Jericho. Jericho had a lot of history, even at that time. It was a major trading center and there was a wealthy tax collector named Zaccheus who lived and worked there. He heard about Jesus and decided to see for himself. But he was a short man and there were a lot of people traveling with Jesus and a huge crowd lining the street waiting to see Jesus pass by. He Restores My Soul

Scripture For The Day    November 14, 2023 "He Restores My Soul"  Psalm 23- Most of us know this beloved Psalm. The LORD is our Shepherd and we who believe are His Sheep. However in recent years, the label of ‘sheep’ has become a derogatory term. I don’t care. I am so very thankful that I am part of His flock. So, Baa Baa baby. Call me a sheep. I know that I matter to Him just as much as the other sheep in His flock. No more, no less. In His Word, His people are never described as lions. But as meek and dependent sheep that depend upon a Shepherd. I’ll take that any day. Because it’s The Truth. I learned this passage when I was a little girl. But no one took the time to teach me what it meant. So, I was always confused by the first verse” “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Why? I would ask The LORD? Why can’t I ‘want’ You? Aijeleth Shahar

  Scripture For The Day  November 13 th , 2023 "Aijeleth Shahar"  Psalm 22 has David assigning this song to the director of the corporate worship stating it is to be sung or chanted by “Aijeleth Shahar” translated means by the hind of the dawn or “The Deer of The Dawn”. Made me think of how sometimes there are little songs for kids to learn and they often use the tune of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” for them to learn them better. Psalm 22 is a cry of anguish and as per usual a song of Praise. And by the very first verse, we can read words that Jesus Christ, Himself, spoke on The Cross. Jesus often quoted scriptures.  “My God, My God, why hast Thou Forsaken Me? (why art thou so) far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?” You have no idea how deeply this verse spoke to me today. I woke up early this morning thinking of the word Forsake. So, as I type I am asking The LORD, “What are you bringing to my heart today?” to forsake means to abandon or turn against. Mak
