"Long Live The King"  

By now you may have heard that Queen Elizabeth passed away this week. She broke the record of Britain's longest reigning monarch with a 70-year reign. However; she did not break the world reigning record of 72 years. It might not matter to you but I can’t help but think that the people are hurting and feeling the loss. She seemed to be fairly loved. The majority of the people have never known any other monarch. The loss of their Queen must be profound and now someone else will be sitting upon that throne.  

 Our God also has a Throne. Symbolic or otherwise, His Word speaks to us about the Throne of God. Isaiah had a vision and he said that he could see The LORD ‘High and lifted up, seated on a throne, and the train of His robe was so long that it filled the temple. He is MAGNIFICENT. – Isaiah 6:1

Like other thrones, His Throne is a place of authority and demands respect.  He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, ever-loving and so very Gracious.  He is Faithful and Reigns with Glory, Patience, Love, and Righteous Justice. When we enter His gates we are to enter with thanksgiving, praising Him, all with a humble heart. We are blessed with being able to enter His Presence anywhere we go. He is in perfect control. His Throne is a place of honor, worship, and praise. His Son, Jesus Christ, sits on the right side of the Father. He is His Right-Hand Man so to speak. And God, the Father, lifted His Son up: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him (Jesus) and given Him (Jesus) a Name (JESUS) which is above every name; That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2: 9-11

Our King will never die. His Reign will go on and on and on. He does not exist in time. He was there before He created time and will be there after time has ended throughout all eternity. He gives every believer a chance through the shed Blood of His Precious Son to be right there with Him.  No matter how much the world and the enemy try to knock Him off the throne, no one and nothing will ever be able to remove our God from His Righteous Throne. Our God’s Not Dead, He’s Surely Alive. He will never die. Find comfort and security in that Promise today.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the ONLY Wise God, be honour and Glory for ever and ever. Amen” – 1 Timothy 1:17 

Our God is an Awesome God. Long live The King!!!

   Scripture For The Day  December 19, 2023 Luke 19 part 1 "Hide It Under a Bushel? NO!"  And Jesus passed through Jericho. Jericho had a lot of history, even at that time. He Restores My Soul

Scripture For The Day    November 14, 2023 "He Restores My Soul"  Psalm 23- Most of us know this beloved Psalm. The LORD is our Shepherd and we who believe are His Sheep. However in recent years, the label of ‘sheep’ has become a derogatory term. I don’t care. I am so very thankful that I am part of His flock. So, Baa Baa baby. Call me a sheep. I know that I matter to Him just as much as the other sheep in His flock. No more, no less. In His Word, His people are never described as lions. But as meek and dependent sheep that depend upon a Shepherd. I’ll take that any day. Because it’s The Truth. I learned this passage when I was a little girl. But no one took the time to teach me what it meant. So, I was always confused by the first verse” “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Why? I would ask The LORD? Why can’t I ‘want’ You? I Love You and I do ‘want’ You to be with me. It wasn’t until I was much older and studying on my own that I discovered the word ‘want” meant

Aijeleth Shahar

  Scripture For The Day  November 13 th , 2023 "Aijeleth Shahar"  Psalm 22 has David assigning this song to the director of the corporate worship stating it is to be sung or chanted by “Aijeleth Shahar” translated means by the hind of the dawn or “The Deer of The Dawn”. Made me think of how sometimes there are little songs for kids to learn and they often use the tune of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” for them to learn them better. Psalm 22 is a cry of anguish and as per usual a song of Praise. And by the very first verse, we can read words that Jesus Christ, Himself, spoke on The Cross. Jesus often quoted scriptures.  “My God, My God, why hast Thou Forsaken Me? (why art thou so) far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?” You have no idea how deeply this verse spoke to me today. I woke up early this morning thinking of the word Forsake. So, as I type I am asking The LORD, “What are you bringing to my heart today?” to forsake means to abandon or turn against. Mak
